We hope you will join us for the 2022 Fall Toot, celebrating our 47th year! As usual, we have searched the world to provide you with an excellent lineup of all-star faculty!
Some classes are for learning technique of a specific instrument; others are one-to-a-part ensembles, while others are large ensemble classes. Some classes are for like instruments (all recorders or all viols), but we also offer mixed classes for instrumentalists and vocalists together. The size of the workshop enables us to create classes for all levels of students, from those of modest skills to advanced players and singers. As is our long tradition, the Toot will be at the beautiful Lakeview Methodist Conference Center near Palestine, in East Texas. See the maps and directions page to learn more about where we'll be, how to get there, and so on. In addition to classes, there will be a faculty concert, madrigal singing, refreshments, and more. Save some cash! — earn the Bring-a-Friend tuition discount! Invite a first-time participant to come to the Fall Toot, and get a 20% discount on your tuition! Or bring back a former Tooter who's been gone 5 or more years, and get a 10% discount. Share the fun, and save! Be sure to get your reservations and deposits in as soon as possible. Volunteering to HelpAs always at the Toot, a big part of the fun is getting to know each other (and learning who the good cooks are!). If you can help with the snacks in the break-room (either by helping to set out the food, helping with clean-up, etc.) then please let us know in advance. If you can provide snacks, fruit, cheese and crackers, etc (drinks are always welcome too), then please bring them along. After an invigorating playing session, it's great to relax with some fresh grapes, peanut M&Ms, or sausage and cheese balls. Be creative and generous! Look at the Faculty and Class sections for faculty bios and lists of classes being offered. We look forward to welcoming you to our Texas Tradition!

Two booster shots are encouraged but not required.Covid test statusAttendees must also present a negative Covid test result (a digital photo is adequate) obtained within the 72 hours prior to the start of the Fall Toot. If testing was done at a medical facility, the test result must show the person's name and the date of the test. If a home test was used, a date-stamped photo of the result is adequate.
