Prices and Other Details for the 17th Summer Texas Toot - 2015

June 7-13, 2015
Toot participants will be housed in Concordia's Residence
Hall dorm (location H on
the campus map...)
The accommodations are 2-person suites with private bath, and
furnished with a small-size refrigerator and a microwave.
NOTE a change!
Beginning this year, Concordia is no longer providing linens.
Texas Toot has purchased a limited
number of linen sets (sheets, towels, blanket, pillow) that will be
available for rent ($25 for the week), but participants who are able are
encouraged to bring your own linens. The beds are extra-long twin (XL twin).
If you prefer not to stay in a dorm, there
are numerous hotels in the surrounding area.
Dining at this Summer's Toot will be provided differently, as the Concordia
dining facility is undergoing a complete overhaul (it will be back
better than ever in 2016!).

required) is May 21, 2015 —

Tuition |
$425 per person "Do-It-Now" tuition (if
registration and deposit are received by May 1) OR
$465 per person if registration and deposit are received
after May 1
$10 discount for ARS, VdGSA, and EMA members
Bring-a-Friend tuition discount: Invite someone new
to come to the Summer Toot! Once he/she registers, you are entitled
to a 20% discount on your tuition (10% if this person has attended
a Toot before, but has been absent for 5 or more years.)

Conference Fee |
This year, there will be a $51 administrative and
facility use fee (not subject to discount) for all participants,
whether staying on- or off-campus.
This fee will be added in as you make your registration payment; there
is no need to write a separate check to Concordia.

Meal Plans |
Meals provided will include dinner Sun Jun 7 through lunch Sat Jun 13.
The options (you may select one or more) include:
- Breakfasts (expanded continental + coffee, served in the dorm): $35
- Lunches (catered hot food, "big meal" of the day): $120
- Suppers (casual; sandwiches or similar): $60
(Last year's prices for Concordia meals were $215 for full meals, $180 for commuter meals.)
There are also many restaurants within 2 miles of the campus, which may be
a viable option for supper. We will help by providing sign-up sheets for
drivers and passengers, to enable carpooling to specific restaurants.

A deposit of $100 is required with registration, refundable until May 21.

The Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is approximately
35 minutes by car from the Concordia University campus.
Ground transportation from/to the airport is available via
shuttle service or taxi.
The Toot staff is available to help you solve transportation quandaries.
If you will be flying in, please

with your flight times so we can help coordinate those arrangements
more efficiently.

If you need other assistance with transportation information,
please contact us.
There will be a few rooms available for those who need to arrive a day
early, or to stay an extra night (around $39 per person for room only).
Try to book return flights around mid- to late afternoon on Saturday.
You may register online, but we must
receive your deposit check for $100 by postal mail to complete
your registration. Deposit is refundable until May 21, 2015.
If you wish to receive a paper registration form, email
info@toot.org with that request.
