Please join us for the 2009 Summer Toot, with our featured faculty Tish Berlin and Matthias Maute (recorder), Brent Wissick (viols) and Tom Zajac (louds)! In conjunction with the Toot, there will be several concerts open to the public. Our world-class faculty this year includes:

Our classes include an array of small, one-on-a-part Renaissance and Baroque ensembles and larger mixed vocal and instrumental groups. The size of the workshop enables us to create classes for all levels of students, from those of modest skills to advanced players and singers.

The 2009 Summer Texas Toot will be held on the beautiful new campus of Concordia University in Austin, Texas. Here is a map of the area around Concordia, as well as driving directions to the campus.

The Boulder Early Music Shop is in residence for the Toot, so music and instruments will be available for purchase (and BEMS does accept credit cards). Look at our Faculty bios; the complete schedule of classes and nightly special events are now posted here on the Toot Website, and will be made available for those without access to the web via US mail, email, or telephone.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Texas Tradition!
