Housing (go straight to Fees)

Three types of housing are available at the Toot: "motel" type, "cabin", and "dormitory", each of which has its own delights.

Motel housing is:

  • Family Life Center (FLC) & Pasadena Blvd Guest Quarters (PB); first class motel-style rooms
The FLC and PB facilities have private baths (mostly), and are furnished with linens and towels. Handicapped-accessible rooms are available. Most of these facilities provide two double beds per room, with some rooms also providing a rollaway bed.

Cabin housing is:

  • Fair Village cabins, located on the opposite side of a small lake
Each Fair Village cabin has a kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms with two beds each (no rollaway beds). Linens and towels are provided. Fair Village is not handicapped-accessible, as there is rustic parking, no sidewalks, and stairs to get into the cabins.

Note early deadline:
Reservations for motel-style housing or cabins must be received by October 31!

Dormitory housing

For those seeking the more spartan experience (or who are on a tighter budget), the BRAND NEW Dorm facilities at

  • Camp Hearn (across the street from Staff House and auditorium)
will fill the bill.

This facility debuted (for us) at the 2015 Fall Toot. Like our trusty now-retired dorm, Camp Windham, each room has many beds, and there is a shower and toilet facility in each building.

Those who stay in Camp Hearn will have the comforts of home -- your own home, that is. You need to bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows and towels with you to Lakeview, because no linens are provided in these rooms!

Camping accommodations are available in the RV trailer park, with full hookups.

While single rooms are available, everyone is encouraged to share rooms. If you don't have a roommate but would be willing to share, indicate double occupancy on your registration form, and a roommate will be assigned.

All Toot participants are covered by an insurance policy provided by Lakeview while at the Toot, and while traveling to and from Lakeview.

Meals

Our meals will be taken at the Sparling Cafeteria at Lakeview. Six meals are included: Friday supper (5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.) through lunch Sunday (noon). Both adult and children's meal plans are offered.

Note early deadline:
Reservations for meals must be received by October 31!

Fees (final)

Tuition Early Bird discount! $170 per person for the weekend, if registered by October 23; $195 per person after October 23.
$10 discount for ARS, VdGSA, EMA, and ARTA members
Save even more! Bring-a-Friend tuition discount: invite a first-time participant to come to the Fall Toot, and get a 20% discount on your tuition! Or bring back a former Tooter who's been gone 5 or more years, and get a 10% discount. Share the fun, and save!
