Prices and Other Details
for the 30th Annual Texas Toot

November 18 - 20, 2005

You may register online, but we must receive your deposit check by postal mail to complete your registration and secure your desired housing.

Two types of housing are available at the Toot: "motel" type and "dormitory", each of which has its own delights.

Motel housing is:

  • Family Life Center, first class rooms
  • Central Building
  • Fair Village, located on the opposite side of a small lake
These facilities have private baths (mostly), and are furnished with linens and towels. Handicapped-accessible rooms are available. Most of these facilities provide two double beds per room with some rooms also providing a rollaway bed. Fair Village has only rollaway beds but it provides a small kitchen as a perk.

Family Life and Central Building costs are $43 per person per night if shared; $53 per night for a single; families (parent(s) and dependent children, limited by room capacity), $83 per night.

The costs for Fair Village are slightly higher this year: $45 per person per night if shared; $75 per night for a single; families (parent(s) and dependent children, limited by room capacity), $85 per night.

For those seeking the more rustic experience (or who are on a tighter budget), the Dorm facilities at

  • Camp Windham
will fill the bill. Each room has 7 single beds with a shower and toilet facilities. Besides being extremely close to our home base (McCarty Auditorium), those who stay in Camp Windham cabins also get the thrill of sleeping in their very own sheets and blankets and drying off with their very own towels. That's right, bedding and towels are not furnished in these rooms; they must be brought with you to Lakeview. These rooms are $28 per night if shared, $32 if rooming alone, and $55 family rate (parent(s) and dependent children).

Camping in the RV trailer park costs $20 per trailer per night. Full hookups are available.

Teddy bears are not provided in any facility, but you may bring your own, if they are well-behaved.

While single rooms are available, everyone is encouraged to share rooms. If you don't have a roommate but would be willing to share, indicate double occupancy on your registration form, and a roommate will be assigned.

All Toot participants are covered by an insurance policy provided by Lakeview while at the Toot, and while traveling to and from Lakeview.
